The Development of Self-Authorship The ability to develop the capacity to comprehend one's self and one's position in the world empowers the development of self-authorship. This development of this psychological capacity flows from the development of self-regulatory knowledge about yourself and being a human. This video touches upon the work of Robert Kegan who first discussed this idea in his book The Evolving Self and In Over Our Heads.
