Parenting Problem-Solving Livestream
June 19th 7:00
Hello there parents,
This week I am going to be doing a live stream to talk about developing problem-solving in your children. A skill that is more valuable and complex than ever. This live stream will, hopefully, be a more Q&A format. The big ideas I will be sharing:
Why every parent can support every child in developing problem-solving?
I will share a universal problem-solving approach that can be used with students of any ability at just about any age.
Why parenting problem-solving is so important?
How my Wholistic Problem-Solving approach can change the way both you and your child will think about learning.
How Wholistic Problem-Solving fosters development, not just in problem-solving but leadership.
This stream seeks to bring together parents and people who have been living with learning disabilities who would like to move beyond the medical model of learning and do something to make the world more conducive, accommodating and accepting to the wide breadth of neurodiversity that actually exists in the world.
More than any of my presentations thus far I will be focused on the LIVING part of the equation. In the coming weeks, I will be doing live streams that are more targeted at professionals in the field of education, with programs on Teaching Wholistic Problem Solving and Institutional Problem Solving.
However, this week I am going to be gearing my talk to parents. If you are a parent please consider attending and feel free to encourage friends or family that you think may benefit from a discussion like this.
I am shifting this week’s live stream to Thursday. My wonderful wife sells her flowers at the Norfolk Farmers Market on Wednesdays, and I am her only employee, so last week I was running to get back from the center of Norfolk to get online with everyone, and that was a little nerve-wracking. This Thursday, time will be less harrowing for me, I hope it is convenient for you also. Thank you for supporting me!
Phil
